I work in a great bar at a great golf club. This year we hosted an open bar for a golf tournament. I was looking to move up to a management position, and in my bar, what the customers (golfers) think matter the most. Since I was in charge of this open bar, I decided to visit some of our golfers favorite web site, www.thegolfcollection.com, and purchase a personalized golf coaster set. We put names of our golfers on the coasters and had them set up on a table with their names. In addition to name tags, they all got a personalized golf coaster. It was a small thing that produced large results. The golfers were just ecstatic and kept asking whose idea was it.
