The mormon church is so great at teaching children. I got to be a substitute teacher in primary one day and during the time all of the classes meet together called “Sharing Time”, we had the best lesson on prayer. The woman who taught it said that prayer isn’t just about speaking, but about listening, and she compared it to talking to Heavenly Father on a cell phone. You wouldn’t just call Him up, spout off a bunch of things, and hang up. You would listen. And we need to make sure we live right so we can have good reception. I love the lessons we have about prayer in the mormon church.
