Being an executor of estate … is no fun

When my uncle Henry died and made me the executor of estate under his will I thought I was going to be in a powerful position to manage the estate just how I saw fit, without anybody bothering me. Boy was I mistaken. being an executor of estate for someone is a legal responsibility to fulfill the wishes of the decedent in a manner that is totally fair to all parties involved. If an executor of estate decides to favor any party or even worse themselves, all the other beneficiaries can sue them for violating their fiduciary duties. If I knew how serious these responsibilities were from the start I would never have agreed to serving as the executor of estate.
