There is a lot to consider when trying to capture that moment in time with your camera, be it a sunset or a small child’s smile. But having a great subject is not enough by itself, you also have to be able to control the camera so that it captures what you see with your eyes, and that is not always as simple as you might think. The problem is that your eyes, combined with your brain make a pretty powerful combination, and are far cleverer than your poor old camera. Basically what it boils down too is that you need to understand photography and I’ve found a great starting place, its a Knol on Google. So have a look and see what you think.
