Unforgettable Wild Horses

The Pryor Mountains in Wyoming is home to a herd of wild horses numbering just shy of two hundred head. I visited there with some friends last summer and was amazed at how sturdy these small horses are. It is a joy to see them roam freely, without care and interference from humans. I wanted to remember my trip through the Pryor’s and with a Breyer Model Horse replica to add to my collection. It is quite a drive to get to the Pryor Mountains, over dirt roads that wind and creep along steep hills and it seem like it never end. This is not a drive for a sports car. This is a drive for a truck, or an SUV. But whatever you choose, if you find yourself near Lovell, Wyoming, try to manage a trip to see the wild horses. Unforgettable.
