Okay, I’m a rebel. My goal in taking guitar lessons was to learn guitar songs by the Beatles and Billy Joel, not classical music.  I want to be the life of the party, not the guy who empties the room. But, I am making progress toward my goal through determined investigation. Slogging through tons of music at the store has netted some stuff that my instructor accepts, letting me learn guitar songs that I really like!  I have also found great song music on the Internet, but I always check to see what the pieces cost and if downloading them might break any copyright regulations. Using that one caution, I’ve found some great songs that fit my ability. I really am becoming the life of the party!
