My daughter recently moved into a new apartment near her college. She insisted on doing a lot of the decorating herself. She was very excited to be moving into her own place, it was her first real apartment. I got her settled and then we took her to the grocery store, and bought some staples. She didn’t want a lot of stuff sitting around, because she claimed she would be eating on campus. I left her some money, and we started towards home.That night I thought about how bare her cupboards had looked, I worried that we didn’t buy her enough groceries. I went online and searched for ‘Food Gift Baskets’, I found the perfect one for her, with cookies, candy, and some other stuff that she really likes. I had it delivered right to her place.My daughter called, delighted with her gift basket. She let me know what was going on at school and seemed to be settling in nicely. She drove home that weekend to see me, I knew she must have been lonely. As she walked in the door she told me about how every time she got hungry, she picked something different from the basket.  She said “Mom, you’re so thoughtful, I thought about you all week”.
