Having been a Boy Scout and then having served in the Navy for his career, my husband is always alert as to the direction we are going.  And if he can’t naturally tell, he surrounds himself with compasses.  We have one in the car, not to mention the GPS we  purchased, and he has attached one on the backpack he uses.  The only time he is without, is when he is wearing a suit and dress shirt.  Not for long, however.  I just found a set of gold cufflinks that are compasses, and I am sure he will love them, and enjoy the laugh as well
