Victory in Defeat

November 4th, 2009 by admin

My neighbor and I had a race. We both decided we would get our garages cleared out and neatly organized, so we could get our cars put away at night. They were dragging down the neighborhood, as neither of us clean our vehicles very often. That was agreed with a handshake a month ago. The best man wins. No prizes, just pride. He didn’t know me that well though. He loves winning, so he did. I waited and watched, to get my garage shelving ideas from him. I love learning from others mistakes. So I did. “Nice one”, he said. “I’ll remember never to play cards with you.”
