A popular variation of stun guns is the Taser gun, which is used by police and military people. The Taser gun works very similar to the ordinary stun gun with one exception. The two charge electrodes are not permanently joined to the housing, but rather are positioned at the end of long conductive wires that are attached to the Taser gun’s electrical circuit. When a law enforcement officer pulls the trigger on a Taser gun, compressed gas inside the gun’s cartridge is released and launched into the air. This is the same type of firing mechanism used in a BB gun.
