Every time I think of my dad, I think of the old western movies he used to watch on TV.  I don’t know if it’s the case or not, but most of the ones I remember have some villain threatening his arch-enemy by saying they’ll be in a “pine box,” or coffin, if they don’t cooperate.  I laugh when I think of it, because we have so much pine furniture in our home.  I love our furniture, I love the look and feel of it, but I love it even more for the memories it brings back to me of my dad.
