Weight lifting versus toning up.

When you work out you are doing a bunch of things at once usually. First of all you have to decide what your main objective is before you start so you put more energy and tune your routine to work better for that outcome. Some people want more muscle, others want more toned muscles. One is essentially putting your muscles to work while the other is overworking them so they grow. Weightlifting routines work using less weight but more reps whereby the toning exercises use more reps with not much weight. You can find routines for both types online very easily.
