Buying Surfing Gear As a Gift

June 17th, 2008 by admin

I wanted to get my new son-in-law something really cool and hip for his birthday. It’s his first birthday since he’s been married to my daughter and I wanted him to know that I love his laid back style. I decided that a great gift would be to get him some surfing gear. The trouble is that I don’t know anything about that kind of thing! I went to a local surf shop and luckily there was a really friendly and knowledgeable clerk working who was really helpful. I told him what I know of my son-in-laws surfing habits and he was able to help me out in buying him some new cutting edge surfing gear.

Myrtle Beach Golf

June 16th, 2008 by admin

It’s the start of summer and the weather couldn’t be better.  Have you spent your tax stimulus check yet?  What better way to take advantage of the extra funds, and spend it on some Myrtle Beach Golf?  Your thank yourself for doing it and enjoy it immensely at the same time.  Myrtle Beach had a slow spring, so they would love your business in the summer, especially as the golf courses are not as full as they are in the spring.

A little touch of Golf class

May 29th, 2008 by admin

I work in a great bar at a great golf club. This year we hosted an open bar for a golf tournament. I was looking to move up to a management position, and in my bar, what the customers (golfers) think matter the most. Since I was in charge of this open bar, I decided to visit some of our golfers favorite web site, www.thegolfcollection.com, and purchase a personalized golf coaster set. We put names of our golfers on the coasters and had them set up on a table with their names. In addition to name tags, they all got a personalized golf coaster. It was a small thing that produced large results. The golfers were just ecstatic and kept asking whose idea was it. Thank you www.thegolfcollection.com - that must have helped my management selection. Smile

The Optimum Anabolics Review

April 30th, 2008 by admin

The amount of crap weightlifting programs that I have been part of is too many to list over the years but thats only because I have found my ultimate workout program. In this short Optimum Anabolics review I will tell you my impression on this gym workout.

Optimum Anabolics is a program that took a lot of learning when I first purchased it as the material and principles were so different and radical than anything that I had ever been exposed to before.

It was a steep learning curve but it has paid off I not only know much more than I did before but more important than that I have got the results. And the results are chiseled muscles, an increase in health and fitness and confidence thats sky high.

Get Away from it All: Fly Fishing

April 27th, 2008 by admin

Nothing beats packing up the automobile on the eve of the weekend of anticipation. Fill up the cooler, make sure you have plenty of ice, pack up all the gear, and fill the tank with gas. Select a few of your closest friends and set the alarm clock for early in the morning so you get out there at the onset of the day. This weekend is all about fly fishing and hands done, there is no better way to spend a weekend. Sure, occasions come up where the fish are not biting, the location is all wrong, or the weather doesn’t exactly cooperate, but getting out of the city and getting away from it all makes up for it regardless.

Muscle Asylum Project Ads

April 25th, 2008 by admin

These amazing ads for Muscle Asylum Project came out in 2007 and created quite a stir within the bodybuilding industry both with the wholesalers and amoungst customers. The ad which can be seen still on youtube if your interested. It was one of the biggest product lanuches of its type the world has ever seen and advertising reached more than just the bodybuilders but also a large scope of consumers. It will be interesting to see how these products live up to the hype and how many non bodybuilders are buying them. I was interested to read the ads and print put out in the launch and the way to side effects warnings or other health impacts were glazed over or not mentioned at all. I imagine there were some good lawyers interpreting the regulations to push the limits as far as possible.

It’s Easy To Improve Your Golf Swing

April 16th, 2008 by admin

If you want an alternative way to keep fit and to improve your game of golf then you could consider getting a golf fitness video. It has many advantages in that it will improve your golf game but is cheaper than taking lessons from a professional player or qualified instructor. It is also very convenient as you can do it in your home at whatever time that you find suits you. If it is a specific golf video then it should teach you all the exercises that you need to do in order to tone those muscles that you use most during the game. It is also better than doing the exercises on your own, as It should be more fun.

How To Choose Hiking Boots

April 15th, 2008 by admin

The first thing to remember when you are buying hiking boots is to get a pair of boots that fit correctly and this means trying them on and not listening to the salesman who probably knows little if anything about how to choose hiking boots. Make sure that your boots are not too loose, or you will get blisters, and that they are not too short, or your toes will rub against the front of the boot. When trying on your boots, do so late on in the day after you have been walking around so that your feet are swollen as they will be after walking on the hiking trail for a while. Also, always try on your boots with a pair of hiking socks which you intend to wear with the boots. Finally, take your time and walk around the store in your boots to make sure that you are absolutely happy with them before you buy them.

She enjoyed it thoroughly…

April 8th, 2008 by admin

There is the typical relaxing holiday and there is once a while really enjoyable holidays. My wife and I, we tried to go for a holiday every year and would plan and make the holidays as enjoyable as possible, but the fly fishing trip in alaska really top it all. From choosing the fly to packing for the trip, we did everything together. So, even before going for the trip, we were enjoying the shopping and anticipating the trip. And upon reaching the alaska, the scenery and the weather are so welcoming, that even without catching any fish, we are already enjoying the trip. So, while many might say that fly fishing is not a lady’s sport, my wife enjoy it thoroughly…

The USGA Rules Of Golf For Clubs And Balls

March 1st, 2008 by admin

Rule 4 of the USGA rules of golf deals with clubs, while rule 5 deals with balls. Until recently these were both relatively straightforward rules but advances in technology mean that there is considerable concern that new equipment coming onto the market may turn what is, and has traditionally been, a game of skill into nothing more than a matter of who is playing with the most technically advanced equipment. For this reason these two rules, amongst other things, now require manufacturers to have all new equipment approved before putting it on sale. These two rules also define such things as the quantity of equipment that may be used during a round of golf and cover such things as damage to equipment either before or during play.

Golfers aren’t improving. Why? Because it’s a physical thing. All you’ve got to do is start a golf fitness plan right now. Don’t put it off. Start today. Do a stretch just to get the ball rolling.
