Police Officer Careers Are Honorable And Respected

August 17th, 2009 by admin

When I was in high school, I was a writer for the school newspaper. I wrote an article about the day in the life of a police officer, and it inspired me to want to become one someday. I found out what kind of a degree I would need to be considered for police officer careers, and I took the recommended courses. When I graduated from college, I called the same officer who had let me ride with him on patrol several years ago. He was the new Captain, and he was one of the ones who interviewed me. I got the job, and I am honored to be serving my community.

Live domain auction

July 25th, 2009 by admin

There is an individual that is attempting to become the top domain broker. Actually I believe he is the top domain broker. He owns multiple sites but mainly is Rick Latona website is the site that you can sell your name at. He has a live auction in New York on October 27, 2009. He is selling his premium domain names. Actually these are not his these are domains that he represents. To obtain the best domains you’re going to ask to attend or see this auction live.If you have used a godaddy promo code to obtain the best prices you can on domains you are paying way less than $10 a domain. Take the gems that you have and submit them to him as he will determine whether or not he wants to sell them for you. If you can turn a sub $10 domain into a big profit you might as well do it. Nowadays creating an entire Internet business is not easy and unless you have the ability to do that for every domain you own you may be better trying to sell your domains that you are not using.

The Credit Secrets Bible

July 12th, 2009 by admin

Who among us has not been in a situation some time in their life where they are having trouble making ends meet. Sometimes it is through poor decision-making that people get themselves into financial difficulty. Other times, such as the current economic climate, it is through no fault of their own. Whatever the case may be, if you are interested in protecting your current credit score or repairing your credit score, there is a book called the credit secrets bible which will take you step-by-step through specific processes that have proven to work for others who have been in your exact situation. Most important thing that you need to do, and most people fail to do, is to maintain communication with those companies you owe money to. Most creditors will be more than happy to work with you to establish a payment schedule that works within your current income level. They all have departments devoted specifically to what they call “problem accounts”. It is the job of the people who work in these departments to work with people who are having trouble paying bills to help them out with a reasonable payback schedule.

Helping my Daughter Get Interested in the Piano

July 7th, 2009 by admin

I have tried everything to get my daughter interested in playing the piano. I have gotten her lessons, but she tells me the teachers bore her. She fights me when it’s time to go to class, wanting to play on the computer instead. Yet every time I threaten to pull her out, she says she still wants to learn. But just yesterday, I heard about a DVD course called Learn and Master Piano. I think it might be just what she needs. It’s taught on the computer, which she really enjoys, and professional musicians help with the lessons. I think it may be not only entertaining for her, but motivating as well.

I Choose Salt And Rust For My Science Fair Project

July 1st, 2009 by admin

We live in an area that gets snow in the winter.   At least once a year and sometimes more often our schools are closed and stay that way until the road crews get out with their snowplows, cinders, and salt.  My dad is always complaining about the rust on his car that he says comes from the salt on the road.  Because of that when I was looking for chemistry science fair project ideas I like the one that studied how much salt has to do on the rates of rusting.  We would see if what they were putting on really caused our car to rust.

My Online Tutor Was Perfect for Web Based College

June 30th, 2009 by admin

Halfway through my college career, I had a few life changes and was unable to continue schooling in the traditional way. After adjusting to what was going on in my life, I decided to finish my degree in an online based college. I was without transportation and it was hard to get help from my already busy professors during class time. I was happy to find an online based tutoring service. If I had a question, I could get real time help at any time I needed it. The format was very much like chatting or sending a text message. I would submit a question and an available tutor would answer me right away. It was the perfect option for me and a great help in completing my degree.

The Telephone Book is a Life Saver

June 28th, 2009 by admin

My dog loves to eat anything and everything it can get its mouth around. Obviously this is not a good thing. Needless to say, my dog found rat poison in the garage and decided she wanted to try and sample it. Luckily I noticed her getting sick soon after she had eaten it so I knew it had not been in her system very long. I hurriedly went to the kitchen to find my telephone book so I could get the number for my vet and for poison control. After a couple of phone calls I am proud to say my dog is just fine.
