My mother is elderly, and we found out her in home nurse was stealing from her.  It is a sad state of affairs, but it is real life, and must be handled.  My siblings and I like her, and decided not to press charges, but to pursue a civil suit to try to get back the items, or at least monetary reimbursement for what was missing.

I went to the American Lawyer Referral website and simply clicked North Dakota attorney to find a lawyer to handle the case.  It was that simple.  If only the lawsuit had been so simple.

It all worked out for the best, and the nurse’s reputation was not sullied.  She will be able to obtain work without a problem.  We know she learned her lesson, and will no longer steal from her patients.

We maintain a friendship with her to support her and keep her on track.  The truth is, she is a good and kind person with a few issues she is resolving.
