We are a military family and we often have to use the military doctors for our children. We recently had to be referred off base because of a slight defect that was heard in my child’s exam. When we went to the new doctor’s office they used electronic stethoscopes for the exam and quickly upon examination noticed that there were no abnormalities. This new piece of equipment was absolutely vital in putting my fears to rest as to my child’s health. The old stethoscopes are comparatively so archaic that I can not believe that military still uses them for examinations.
