After bidding on and winning a new car through an online auction site, I have had the opportunity to price, compare, and purchase the services of a Car Shipping company. Having the car shipped overseas and the car being an antique, collectors’ item, I was initially concerned about the quality of service. After shopping around and speaking with some reputable companies, I was able to make a deal and have my new car shipped in perfect condition, through several modes of transportation. It was first on a truck, then a cargo ship, and finally on a train. Biting my nails in anticipation and reading up on the fine print in the insurance policy was an unnecessary waste of time, as she arrived as perfect as I had hoped.
