An innovative company in England has come up with a solar-powered church notice board. By being solar-powered, the notice board has three unique advantages. First, (and obviously) the electrical cost to operate the lights is zero, using only the sun’s power. Secondly, the board can be positioned anywhere the sun shines, eliminating the need for expensive electrical work and allowing the board to be positioned far from existing power service, if desired. Finally, these unique church furnishings send a powerful environmental message to parishoners while also advertising the church services. They’re also outfitted with a motion sensor so they’re only illuminated when somebody approaches. A “practical” approach to the light of the Lord.
